I forked Artalk, a self-hosted comment system that had lacked recent updates, to implement critical localization features and UI enhancements. The primary focus was introducing full Turkish language support and re-engineering the sidebar to support dynamic, on-the-fly language switching. By modifying the core localization logic, I enabled a seamless experience for multi-lingual (i18n) environments. This project demonstrates my ability to maintain and improve legacy open-source codebases, ensuring they meet modern internationalization standards and provide a flexible user interface.
